LONDON, UK. – March 03, 2015 – EuroSite Power Inc., (OTCQB: EUSP) an On-Site Utility™ solutions provider, offering clean electricity, heat, hot water and cooling solutions to healthcare, hospitality, housing and leisure centres in the United Kingdom (UK) and Europe, is now operating a further 100 kW combined heat and power (CHP) system at the world famous Wentworth Club, UK – the second CHP system installed by EuroSite Power at the club to go live.
Under a fifteen-year agreement, EuroSite Power has installed and is now operating a combined heat and power (CHP) system at the club’s Clubhouse, which will produce up to 100 kWe of power or approximately 1,304,500 kWh of total energy per annum, while saving up to 240 tonnes of CO2, each year. Wentworth Club receives a discount on the energy produced by the CHP system and reduces its carbon emissions from the property.
Paul Hamblyn, Managing Director of EuroSite Power, said: “With the second system at Wentworth Club now commissioned, our operational fleet now totals 23 systems. We fund the installation and operation of our On-Site Utility™ solutions, so Wentworth Club started saving from the moment the unit was switched on.”
